Pizza,
the All-American food! Everyone loves pizza––which is why it’s one of the
foods people miss the most on a gluten-free diet.
Follow
these easy directions for a mouth-watering pizza that you, your family, and your
guests will love! I serve this pizza at parties and my (non-gluten-free) guests
are delighted to have homemade pizza––not even noticing (or caring) that it
is gluten-free.

Preheat
oven to 425º. Mix dough with electric mixer. If mixer bounces around, add
water (1 tablespoon at a time) until it doesn’t resist beaters. Dough
should be very soft.
or
Blend
ingredients with food processor until mixture forms soft ball. |
|
 |
Place
dough on lightly greased 12-inch nonstick pizza pan. Liberally sprinkle
dough with rice flour. |
 |
Press
dough to edges of pan with your hands, continuing to sprinkle dough with
flour to prevent sticking to your hands. Make edges thicker to contain the
toppings |
|
 |
Bake
10-15 minutes or until crust begins to brown. |
|
 |
Remove
from oven and add toppings, using a thick pizza sauce such as the recipe
next to the pizza crust on this web site. |
|
 |
Remove
pizza from oven. Cut into 6 slices with pizza cutter |
Try it for yourself and see
if you agree––this is one of the most authentic-tasting gluten-free pizzas
you’ve ever eaten.
